About IJMF
We are a mission organization committed to pray and support as more and more disciples of Jesus Christ takes the gospel to unreached places in India. We partner with the ministry of Jubilee Memorial Bible College (JMBC) and Hindi Belt Mission (HBM) to reach the unreached with the good news of Jesus Christ.
History
Rev. Bill Maxim and Mrs. Ginny Maxim founded the India Jubilee Missionary Fund (IJMF) to pray for and support Jubilee Memorial Bible College (JMBC), Chennai, India. Mrs. Ginny Maxim was a close friend and college mate of Late Very Rev. P. T. Chandapilla, the founder-chairman of JMBC and HBM. In 1988 Rev. Chandapilla requested Maxims to form an organization to support the JMBC ministry. In the same year IJMF was incorporated in the state of South Carolina, USA as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Over the years, God enabled IJMF to raise funds for JMBC capital projects – both land purchase and building construction. The goal of a debt-free campus has been reached, adequate for a limited sized student body (under 100 to facilitate discipleship). This was the Lord’s doing. Rev. Chandapilla’s original view was that if the IJMF could raise funds for the capital projects, funds from within India would be sufficient for the running expenses. The reality, however, is that even with regular donors to support operations, the college has been struggling to stay current with the running expenses. All these years the Lord provided for the functioning of JMBC, and we witnessed around 450 students graduated and serving the Lord in different parts of the World.
By end of 2017, Rev. Bill Maxim and Mrs. Ginny Maxim handed over their leadership roles of IJMF to the current Chairman Mr. Thomas Daniel. God used the Maxims immensely in building up and establish JMBC to be one of the top bible colleges in Asia. We are grateful to the Lord for the exceptional leadership and service of Maxims in making an impact in training hundreds of men and women in India.
